Our early history
Since 1980
Al-Habib Trading and Contracting Company (HTC) is proud of its excellent facilities, highly skilled and motivated staff and quality of products and services in the telecommunication field. This vision began way back in 1980 when the company was established as a supply and installation contractor for Telecommunication networks. The Company Head Office is based in Al Khobar while its regional office is located in Riyadh.
In early 80's, HTC was one of the prime installation contractors for the Saudi Arabian Telecommunication infrastructure. HTC, during the 80s and early 90s executed telecommunication OSP projects for the Saudi MoPTT as a prime contractor. HTC was also one of the communication subcontractors for the Saudi ARAMCO Homeownership program to execute OSP work using copper and fibre cable technology. The work included pulling, splicing, jointing and testing.
HTC continued to invest in its excellence and perform its best implementing telecommunication OSP network until 1997 when the Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) was formed. HTC took the challenge to work with STC and other large telecom companies across the Kingdom to provide client and end user services expected under controlled budget and schedule constraints.

Our certifications
HTC is an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certified Company. It has also established Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard and Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001:2004 Standard. The Company has been awarded 'Grade-2' Classification by the Kingdom's Ministry of Municipality.
Our Company is proud of playing a vital role in the development of Telecommunication field in Saudi Arabia. The company is now well known in the Kingdom for implementing telecommunication projects with difficult constraints. Our fiber optic team is regarded as one of the best in the country. Today Al Habib remains committed to this field while developing new digital business lines.
